Your inputs stay on your device
Salary, wages, W-4 settings and every other number you type are processed by JavaScript in your browser. They are not sent to our servers. If you copy a share link, the inputs are encoded in that link — anyone you send it to can see them.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and coarse events (for example, that a calculation or comparison happened, and which state was selected). We never send salary amounts or other inputs to analytics. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first; analytics storage stays off until you accept.
Advertising
We may show ads from Google AdSense or similar networks on content areas (never inside the calculator). Those providers may use cookies subject to their own policies and your consent choices.
